How do I use Local-Access (VoIP)? Back to Knowledgebase
Often VoIP calls are not allowed by your cellphone service provider, your data volume is limited, your internet connection bad or you are abroad and calls home are expensive. In such a situation you can use our Local-Access service so you can call a local landline number and enter the number you want to call. If you have a flatrate for landline calls, this service is completely free of charge for you (disregarding of the VoIP fees).
To use Local-Access you have config your account. If you use Local-Access once in a while we recommed to link your caller id with your account so you will be automatically recognized when you calling using this number. If you do not want to link your caller id with your account you can generate a personal code. If you are calling one of the following numbers and your caller id is not known by our system you can enter your personal code which you can generate here.
|Country||Call Number (Landline)|
These calls will be charged as normal landline calls by your service provider.
If you linked your caller id with your account you can now call one of these numbers, press the #-button and enter the number you want to call. If you does not linked it you can enter the code after calling. After that you can also press the #-button and enter the number you want to call.
Note: Sending personal codes to others is not permitted and we reserve the right to block your access.
